Last spring, Kia revealed the all-new 2024 Seltos. This popular model, which launched in 2020, quickly ascended to the top of Kia's sales charts and has yet to show any signs of slowing down. This latest iteration will certainly keep the momentum going.

The 2024 Seltos showcases significant enhancements both inside and out. The exterior features new headlight and rear combination taillights, crafting a ‘star-map’ signature aesthetic akin to the Telluride and Sportage. An updated design for the front and rear bumpers, a striking radiator grille, and vertical fog lights all contribute to a more dynamic look. Additionally, two new color options, Valais Green and Pluton Blue, offer buyers a chance to get their new wheels noticed as thought the Seltos’ look weren’t enough already.

A standout addition to the 2024 lineup is the X-Line trim. This variant amplifies the Seltos' edginess with gunmetal-colored radiator/grille, front/rear skid plates, glossy black side body molding, and 18-inch black wheels. It’s not just about looks; the X-Line is equipped with black roof rails that increase the SUV’s capabilities. 

Interior Innovations

Drawing inspiration from recent Kia models like the EV6 and the redesigned Sportage, the 2024 Seltos introduces an extended dashboard configuration. An available 10.25-inch full LCD cluster and a panoramic 10.25-inch multimedia display elevate the interior ambiance. Further refinements include a modernized center console, updated air vents, and stylish garnishes. The optional Sofino Gentle Brown Leather interior encapsulates luxury within the compact SUV segment.

Performance Boost

Under the hood, the 2024 Seltos impresses with its enhanced 1.6L turbo-GDI engine, now boasting 195 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque – a notable increase from its predecessor. The latter joins the standard frugal 2.0L engine. Complemented by an 8-speed automatic transmission, the SUV promises a smoother, more spirited driving experience.

The 2024 Seltos doesn’t skimp on technology and safety. Additions like the available power tailgate, Digital Key 2 Touch, and a two-setting driver memory seat augment the driving experience.
